Craon is a lovely flowered town at the gates of Anjou and Brittany and green holiday resort and welcomes you with great care. Its shady and quiet 3*** campground is near a well appreciated lake and is uniquely situated at 500 meters from the town center’s shops and services.

Opened in 1984 on a surface of one hectare, it offers 25 shady pitches. Nine bungalows, of which one for persons with disabilities,  9 cottages and 2 mobil-homes are available.

Craon is a history book at actual size. Gallo-Roman columns and the castle that dominates the city are to be seen in the town of Craon.

The town of Craon is also known for its nationally recognized horse races. The greatest horses and jockeys competed here. Trot, gallop or obstacles, the versatility of the races delights all lovers of horses and sport.
